The ICOM France guarantee
The manufacturer's warranty only applies to equipment that was purchased in France within our authorised distribution network (contact us). Unless otherwise stated, the equipment is covered for a period of one year (12 months) from the date of the invoice.
This guarantee only covers malfunctions or manufacturing faults which are identified during this period. It is only applicable if the equipment has been used for its intended purpose during this period.
The guarantee does not cover any faults that were caused after the equipment was dispatched from the warehouse, such as poor maintenance or improper installation.

The guarantee is immediately invalid if any damage or sign of alterations weren’t caused by or carried out by ICOM FRANCE The guarantee is exclusively limited to the replacement of parts which will be identified as faulty with original parts or equivalent.
Should it be determined that the parts were made faulty by the buyer, the latter will be charged for the parts as well as for the labour costs. Transistors fitted on power stages and batteries are not covered.
To be entitled to solicit the benefit of the guarantee, the buyer must notify ICOM FRANCE of the faults encountered on the equipment sold, without delay and in written form. The buyer must allow ICOM FRANCE to gather all the findings needed to correct the fault(s).
This will be carried out using ICOM FRANCE’s facilities and additional shipping fees are not covered by the guarantee.
The company ICOM FRANCE shall not be bound to any compensation of the buyer in respect of personal injury or of damage to property that is not the subject matter of the contract.
In accordance with current legislation, equipment intended for amateur radio operators must be operated in frequency bands that have been specifically allocated by administration.
Any modifications to the original features of the equipment (frequency extension etc.) may affect its compliance with the RTTE Directive. Any alterations made to ICOM FRANCE equipment that did not involve the ICOM FRANCE after-sales service invalidates the manufacturer's warranty.
It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that the product’s use is in accordance with the law.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
In accordance with Articles R.543-195 and following of the French Code of the Environment, ICOM FRANCE has set up an individual collection and treatment of waste electronic and electrical professional equipment system. Any user can contact our company to recover its professional WEEE to be treated and recycled at the expense of ICOM FRANCE.
